Hadamard function, stress tensor, and de Sitter space

Abstract
Using the ‘‘Hadamard’’ formalism, we derive the general expression of the renormalized vacuum expectation value of the stress tensor of a massive scalar field. We apply this formalism to the O(1,4)- and E(3)-invariant vacua of de Sitter space.Keywords
