Abstract
The problem of utilizing visual aids to education for stimulating students' cognitive activity is especially acute now. The new Party Program envisages not only organization of chemistry, physics, and other study centers [kabinety] and laboratories in all Soviet schools but also introduction of the latest technical means, such as films, radio and television, into the educational process. Visual aids play an important role in education through work. In such cases assimilation of knowledge, habits and skills is always connected with perception of visual images (movements, instruments and the products of labor, materials).
