Electron–optical phonon interaction in carbon nanotubes

Abstract
The electron-phonon interaction is calculated for electrons states in single wall carbon nanotubes. Explicit results are presented for armchair and zig-zag tubes. The scattering by acoustical phonons confirm earlier results, while the scattering by optical phonons is new.Keywords
