Abstract
The role of N -methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors in the induction of long-term potentiation (LTP) was established during the 1980s. In this article I present a personal reflection upon the role that my colleagues and I played in the discovery of the mechanism of induction of NMDA receptor-dependent LTP.Keywords
