Coronary arteriographic findings in a case of primary angiosarcoma of the heart

Abstract
A case of primary angiosarcoma of the heart diagnosed during life is presented. Selective coronary arteriography provided the clue for the correct pre-operative identification of the tumor, showing angiomatous dilatations over the area supplied by the right coronary artery. A small left-to-right shunt was detected by oximetry at the atrioventricular level, further confirming the angiomatous nature of the tumor.
