Abstract
102 recognized cases of epidemic encephalitis of the St. Louis type occurred in the rural areas of the San Joaquin Valley in California between March 1937 and Feb. 1938. The virus of the St. Louis type was neutralized with blood from 21 out of 41 of the patients. 3-6 months after recovery, 22.5% of the patients showed some disability attributable to the disease. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
