Abstract
Production of β-glucosidase, exo-β-l,4-glucanaso and endo-β-l.-l-glucanase was screened in 58 species of imperfect fungi, mucoral fungi and some ascomycetes. β-Glucosidase activity was found in all of the tested microorganisms, exo-β-l,4-glucanase activity in 23, and endo-β-l,4-glucanase activity in 38 microorganisms. Growth on cellobiose was found in all tested microorganisms, growth on carboxymethylcellulose in 38 tested strains. Keywords
