Abstract
The dye separates as a narrow band on the surface of a column of degraded amorphous cellulose. It is eluted with aqueous acetone for colorimetric estimation. The analysis is not affected by the presence of opalescence or hemolysis. Comparative results were obtained by this method and by direct method in the estimation of blood volume of normal male subjects. Keywords
