Abstract
Telephone telemetry of bioelectric signals was developed primarily as a physiological monitoring device for patients unable to come to the medical electronic laboratory. In addition, it provides patient and physician with immediate diagnostic and consultation facilities for the interpretation of bioelectric data without regard to distance. Any bioelectric signal may at this time be telemetered. Multiplexing devices, now under development, will facilitate the simultaneous telemetry of multiple bioelectric signals. Keywords
