The relation between Halpern's theory of size effects and the mean free path method

Abstract
It is shown that Halpern's recent theory of size effects in the transport properties of thin metal films is equivalent to the mean free path method, which is a simple form of the Fuchs- Sondheimer theory, valid when Fuch's parameter is close to unity.Keywords
