Abstract
This study investigated hearing aid acceptance and use as functions of the probable site of a lesion: conductive, cochlear, neural, and central as determined by an audiometric test battery. Results indicate significantly better acceptance of aids in conductive and cochlear disorders than in more central neural and central disorders. Keywords
