Abstract
The effect of the extra term in the incoherent part of the scattered radiation due to the operation of the Pauli exclusion principle is calculated for neon. It is shown that the inclusion of this term gives considerably better agreement with experimental results for NaF; it is further pointed out that it is probably only in the case of the diffuse scattering from crystals that the effect of this term can be detected experimentally. Keywords
