Abstract
The possibility of simultaneous beta-gamma-emission as an alternative process for strongly forbidden beta-decay is investigated. The lifetime of the compound transition is estimated, and the beta- and gamma-spectra are given. Combinations of spin and parity for which the compound transition would not be obscured by the ordinary beta transition are listed. Keywords
