Abstract
Cuttings from mature Douglas-fir trees, normally difficult to root, can be stimulated into rooting by grafting them at the stem base with cuttings from seedlings of the same species. This stimulation originates from roots of seedling cuttings; their tops did not affect the final rooting success although they increased the rate of rooting. Keywords
