Abstract
The lactic acid group of bacteria occur on plants with some degree of constancy, but not of consistency, and seldom at high levels of population. Their role on the surfaces of plants is unknown, and apparently passive, for no functional, concrete role in an intimate bacterium to plant relationship has been detected. Keywords
