Abstract
To facilitate investigation of adult social behavior a situation-specific locus-of-control measure, patterned after Rotter's I-E scale, was developed. Using a forced-choice format, the 23-item Locus of Control of Interpersonal Relationships Questionnaire was constructed; it yielded adequate psychometric properties and sufficient construct validity to warrant further research. Keywords
