Abstract
Radiative lifetimes are measured by dye laser excitation. The results are, in ns, The MgH result agrees with the theoretical value of 41 ns. The electronic transition moments of the A 2Π–X 2Σ+ transitions agree with those of the s–p transitions for the respective metals. Keywords
