Abstract
This paper describes the following features of a recently developed high nitrogen-bearing, highly corrosion resistant stainless steel: tensile properties, stress corrosion characteristics in boiling magnesium chloride solution, effect of sensitizing heat treatment on the nature and extent of grain boundary attack, and electrochemical polarization behavior in sulfuric acid and low pH chloride solutions. Keywords
