Decay-product correlation of $τ^{+} τ^{-}$ from $e^{+} e^{-}$ annihilation

Abstract

We analyze the

π^{+} π^{-}

angular correlation for the process

e^{+} e^{-} \to τ^{+} τ^{-}

with subsequent decays

τ^{+} \to π^{+} {\bar{ν}}_{τ}

and

τ^{-} \to π^{-} ν_{τ}

as a function of the

ν_{τ}

mass as well as the proportion of

V + A

to

V - A

coupling strengths.
