Abstract
Apparatus has been devised for measuring and measurements made of Thomson coefficients of metals at high temperatures. It is found that in the range from 400°C to the melting point the approximation is adequate for platinum, palladium, copper, and silver but not for gold, molybdenum, and tungsten.
