Abstract
New exact solutions are presented for inhomogeneous vacuum cosmological models admitting a two-dimensional group of isometries. The solutions are obtained by assuming separability of the metric coefficients in a suitable coordinate system for classes B(ii) and A(ii) in Wainwright's classification (1985). In both classes the maximum parameter family of solutions is self-similar, whereas lower parameter families may be only asymptotically self-similar.Keywords
