Abstract
The effectiveness of Terrazole as a nitrificide (nitrification inhibitor) was examined in laboratory and field experiments. In both, Terrazole inhibited nitrification of fertilizer-N to varying degrees. Under field conditions the control of nitrification was of limited duration and did not increase pasture yields or recovery of applied fertilizer-N. Terrazole treatment reduced the nitrate content of pasture herbage and soil drainage water. This publication has 17 references indexed in Scilit:
