Abstract
A method of calculating the dispersion‐forces coefficient from low‐temperature experimental transport cross sections is developed. The method is used to calculate the dispersion‐forces coefficients of neon and argon from low‐temperature viscosity data. Good agreement with the sum‐rule calculations of Dalgarno and Kingston is found. Keywords
