Abstract
A modular phosphorimeter with a single-disk phosphoroscope is described. A sample cell assembly employing a quartz light pipe is incorporated in the design. The sensitivity of the new instrument is experimentally compared to a commercial spectrofluorimeter with phosphoroscope attachment. Several synthetic complex binary mixtures are rapidly determined by phosphoroscopic resolution using the single-disk instrument. Advantages of the single-disk instrument compared with commercial instruments are also given. Keywords
