Abstract
The x‐ray diffraction patterns of liquid nitrogen and of liquid oxygen were measured at their saturated vapor pressures at 64° and 77°K. Mixtures of the liquids were examined at the saturated vapor pressures at 77°K. The radial distribution functions of the pure liquids were calculated and effects of truncation errors analyzed. No evidence of multi‐atomic molecules other than diatomic molecules was found. Keywords
