Abstract
The rotational transition N = 1 → 2 in the X 2Σ+ ground state of AlO has been measured by microwave spectroscopy. From an analysis of the fully resolved fine and hyperfine splitting the following constants have been determined (in MHz): B 0 = 19141·312, γ0 = 51·85, b = 659, c = 169·62, eqQ = -26·9.Keywords
