Abstract
Among 741 people examined in a rural area in Liberia for microfilariae of Wuchereria bancrofti, 39 (5.3%) were infected with nematode larvae others than microfilariae. These larvae had more developed inner structures than microfilariae and were classified into 2 different types by their length and shape. The larvae were not yet identified, but they are probably parasitic larvae of nematodes of the intestine.
