Abstract
Correlated morphological and thymidine-3H autoradiographic observations on dentinogenesis in lower incisor roots and osteogenesis in the associated alveolar bone of young rats were made with the electron microscope. The results support the concept that proliferating osteogenic and dentinogenic cells may undergo two alternative types of cytodifferentiation: fibrogenic and resorptive. Keywords
