Abstract
A new ceramic Y-Ba-Cu oxide compound which exhibits superconductivity above liquid nitrogen temperature is presented. It is found that the compound of the form Y0.8Ba1.2CuO y exhibits superconducting onset at 92 K and complete zero resistance state at 77 K. The observed maximum critical current density is 14 A/cm2.Keywords
