Abstract
In a Knudsen‐cell study of a premelted sample of As2O3 and Sb2O3, the vapor species As4O6, As3SbO6, As2Sb2O6, AsSb3O6, and Sb4O6 were observed. For the disproportionation of one of these mixed species to its neighbors in the above list of compounds, a zero heat of reaction was found. The entropies of reaction were nearly indistinguishable from the entropies derived from statistical considerations of the replacement of one metal with another. Keywords
