Abstract
The following neotropical mites are recorded from southern U. S. A.: Gigantolaelaps sp. from Oryzomys palustris; Neoichoronyssus wernecki from Didelphis spp.; and Liponyssus hematophagus from Tadarida cynocephala and Myotis lucifugus. All species of Laelaps sensu latus possess a brush of small setae at the base of the digitus mobilis.
