N=1 and N=2 supersymmetric nonabelian Born-Infeld actions from superspace
Abstract
The Goldstone-Maxwell reformulations of the known abelian N=1 and N=2 supersymmetric Born-Infeld actions in four dimensions are used to construct their new nonabelian generalizations in N=1 and N=2 superspace, respectively, to all orders in the superfield strengths. The proposed invariant actions are dictated by simple (manifestly supersymmetric and gauge-covariant) nonlinear constraints.Keywords
