Abstract
We have studied the electronic properties of anisotropic quantum dots in a magnetic field. The evolution of single-electron energy levels as a function of magnetic field and the corresponding chemical potentials are investigated for various cases of anisotropy. We have also analyzed the effect of interelectron interaction on the isotropic as well as anisotropic quantum dots by calculating the energy spectra and the pair-correlation function of a two-electron system. Keywords
