Abstract
An optical image scanning method using the longitudinal acoustoelectric effect by surface waves in the coupled p‐Si/LiNbO3 system is described. By means of the coupling between electrons in a weak inversion layer and surface waves (frequency, 87 MHz; time duration, 400 nsec), a resolution of 2 lines/mm can be obtained. Keywords
