Abstract
The T1/T3 ratio is a most valuable electro-cardiographic sign and is normally smaller the more the average electrical axis of QRS inclines to the right and vice versa; in damaged hearts, the ratio is disturbed. Above 2.00 the ratio is normal for any QRS axis. Rightward deviation of T axis is a result of disease of left ventricle probably due to relative or absolute inadequacy of the coronary circulation. In general, the larger the S2, the greater the left axis deviation. A special S123 type of electrocardiogram is described which is easily recognizable and which constitutes an exception to the general rule. Keywords
