Abstract
The cotton dyes, Pagoda Red, RIT Scarlet No. 5 and RIT Cardinal Red No. 9 were utilized for the microscopic demonstration of amyloid in cutaneous histopathology in patients. All 3 dyes stained amyloid specifically, yielding a bright orange color. The preparation of staining solutions and the staining procedure are simple, practical and can be applied routinely in a dermatopathology laboratory. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
