Abstract

Reaction of bislithiated substituted methylnitriles and -sulfones with oxalimidoyl dichlorides furnishes (3-imino-2,3-dihydro-1H-indol-2-ylidene)acetonitriles and -sulfones in good yield and with excellent stereocontrol.
