Effect of Alternation in Dietary Protein Levels on Pancreatic Enzymes in Rats

Abstract
Rats fed diets alternating between high (18%) and low (6%) protein had higher proteolytic enzymes per pancreas than low protein controls and as high totals of these enzymes as high protein controls. The concentration of proteolytic enzymes was higher than either control.
