Abstract
This paper identifies and examines the factors affecting the success or failure of worker co-operatives based on an analysis of existing research in the UK. It compares findings from research on worker co-operatives formed during the last century and early this century, with the findings from research on the recent wave of worker co-operatives established since 1960.Keywords
