Abstract
The emission spectrum of gaseous PtD has been photographed in the region 3900-6500 Å. Five PtD bands not earlier reported were measured and rotationally analysed. The bands were found to belong to two sub-systems which correspond to the known 2Δ3/2-X 2Δ3/2 and 2Φ7/2-X 2Δ5/2 sub-systems in PtH.Keywords
