Abstract

The K_S →2γ decay rate is evaluated on the basis of dispersion relations and unitarity in the approximation of retaining the two-pion intermediate states. The numerical result of the branching ratio Γ(K_S →2γ)/Γ(K_S →π⁺π^-) is given by 3.1 ×10^-6.
