Effect of purification on frequency dependence of the electrical properties of copper phthalocyanine discs

Abstract
The frequency dependence of conductivity and dielectric permittivity of the compressed powder copper-phthalocyanine has been measured at 30 Hz–3 MHz and 20–120 °C. A.c. conductivity of copper-phthalocyanine purified by sublimation is proportional to ωn with the exponent n= 0.75. On the other hand, the frequency dependence of capacitance of conductance of copper-phthalocyanine purified by recrystallization from concentrated sulphuric acid are interpretable in terms of the inhomogeneous two-layer model.
