Abstract
The finite element technique has been used for the prediction of natural frequencies and mode shapes of a chassis structure. The program developed in Paper 1 was extended by adding an inertia matrix. The effects of shear and tapered beams were also considered and predictions of frequencies and mode shapes are compared with experimental results. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
