Abstract
Fungal storage rots were surveyed in cultivars of Cucurbita maxima and C. moschata during 1973 and 1974. Fourteen fungi were identified as pathogens of the fruit. The major pathogens were Fusarium culmorum, F. solani, and Didymella bryoniae; minor pathogens included Botrytis cinerea, Colletotrichum coccodes, F. acuminatum, F. equiseti, F. lateritium, F. sulphureum, Phoma exigua, P. herbarum, Phytophthora citricola, P. cryptogea, and Septoria cucurbitacearum.Keywords
