Abstract
No interrelationship between linoleate and tocopherol requirements could be demonstrated in either male or female rats, as indicated by the growth response of fat-depleted animals receiving a fat-free diet. These results indicate that α-tocopherol is not the limiting factor responsible for the sex differences in linoleate requirement reported earlier for the rat. Keywords
