Zytokinspiegel im malignen Aszites und peripheren Blut von Patientinnen mit fortgeschrittenem Ovarialkarzinom

Abstract
Untersucht wurden die Konzentrationen von verschiedenen Zytokinen mittels ELISA im Blut und im durch Parazentese gewonnenen Aszites von 14 Patientinnen mit einem fortgeschrittenen Ovarialkarzinom (Stadium IV). Die Kontrollgruppe bestand aus 6 Patientinnen, bei denen im Rahmen einer diagnostischen Laparoskopie Douglasflüssigkeit entnommen wurde. Bei den Patientinnen mit Ovarialkarzinom fanden sich im Vergleich zur Kontrollgruppe im Aszites und/oder Plasma signifikant erhöhte Konzentrationen von IL-6. IL-8, IL-10, TNF-α und sIL-2R. Nicht erhöht waren die Konzentrationen von IL-1α, IL-lβ, IL-2, IFN-γ und sCD14, Diskutiert wird die mögliche pathogenetische Bedeutung der Zytokine beim Ovarialkarzinom. The concentrations of various cytokines were examined by ELISA in blood and in ascites from 14 patients with advanced ovarian cancer (stage IV). The control group consisted of 6 patients with benign gynaecological disorders. Compared with patients with benign gynaecological disorders, ascites and/or plasma of patients with ovarian cancer showed significantly higher levels of IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, TNF-α, and sIL-2R. There were no increases of IL-1α, IL-lβ, IL-2, IFN-γ, and sCD14 levels. The possible pathogenetic significance of cytokines in ovarian cancer is discussed.
