Abstract
Since the Sixties, closed-chest cardiac compression with synchronised mouth-to-mouth ventilation has been used to resuscitate patients after cardiopulmonary arrest (CPA). It is a complicated sequence of events in which nurses’ skills and knowledge of the procedure are put to the ultimate test in a dramatic race against time (1).Keywords
