Abstract
Gelis tenellus (Say) is one of the most abundant hyperparasites of the gypsy moth parasite Apanteles melanoscelus (Ratzburg). The mean developmental time of G. tenellus was 17 days at 25°C and 30% RH, and adults lived ca. 40 days. Adults remained reproductive for the initial 4/5 of their life span. Oviposition peaked at days 6-10. The major diapause inducing factor was photoperiod. The critical photoperiod for diapause induction was 11-14 h of daylight but diapause incidence never fell below 30%, even at 20-h photoperiod. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
