Abstract
The attenuation of Alfvén waves in bismuth can be analyzed to show the detailed variation of the relaxation time with magnetic field. For the example presented, which has the magnetic field along the threefold axis, variations between 2.5× and 6.0× sec are found around an average value for of 4.3× sec.
