Abstract
Simultaneous recordings from right and left precordial leads in 50 normal individuals were obtained. The duration of rS in lead V1, was always equal to or greater than the duration of qR in lead V7. Evidence is presented to support the thesis that the duration of rS in lead V1, is a more accurate index of left ventricular activation time than the duration of qR in the left precordial leads. Keywords
